Mr Hatzidakis emphasized that every effort will be made by the government to finish the project of integrating cash machines with point-of-sale systems.
Minister of Finance and National Economy Costis Hatzidakis
declared on Monday that "fighting tax evasion is our flag." During
his speech in Parliament, Hatzidakis emphasized that the government will exert
all of its efforts to finish the project of integrating POS with cash machines
by the first few months of 2024.
The government has pledged to our Recovery Fund that by the
first few months of 2024, point-of-sale systems will be linked to cash
machines. They'll also be linked together. The Greek minister declared,
"We will do everything to achieve this goal. This project is a landmark in
the Recovery Fund, and its failure could result in financial losses for the
nation." Additionally, he sent out a message to all of them stating that
the government is firm on this.
